A TRIP TO KUND MALIR BEACH

One of the several beaches with excellent water along the Makran Coastal Highway, or N10, is Kund Malir. Kund Malir is a popular destination for tourists on a long journeys because it is the nearest almost undiscovered beach to Karachi. Here is everything you need to know about traveling to Kund Malir via Karachi and the things to do there.

TRAVELLING FROM KARACHI TO KUND MALIR

Makran Coastal Highway

Kund Malir Beach is directly adjacent to the Makran Coastal Highway, which continues to Ormara, Pasni, and Gwadar. While the road leading to Kund Malir travels through rocks and a desolate terrain, the beach itself is an aspect of the Hingol National Park.

The route departs at Karachi’s Sindh Industrial Trading Estate (S.I.T.E.) neighborhood, from where the M-10 or Karachi Northern Bypass will take you to the city’s outskirts. No matter where your journey begins, you can use the Lyari Motorway to reach the Northern Bypass. In Balochistan, at the toll booth before Hub, the M-10 merges into the N25.

Take the N25, then keep going when passing Winder. You can get Zero Point, the beginning of the Makran Coastal Highway or N10, by taking the N25. The fine sands and crystal-clear waters of Kund Malir await you there; the route leads directly to Hingol National Park. The trip to Kund Malir takes about 4 hours at an extended pace, but if you’re traveling with children, we’d suggest stopping for a tea break and restroom break somewhere close to Winder. Small dhabas that are well suited for this function have been built alongside the road.

THE BEST TIME TO VISIT KUND MALIR

Karachites typically visit beaches in the summer, but since Kund Malir has a high tide interval from June to August, it is best to go there in the low tide period from October to February. This is a much safer time to visit the beach.

Another excellent incentive to travel to Balochistan during this season is that, in contrast to the summer’s hot, the winters are generally comfortable or only slightly chilly. This will make the trip pleasant, but be sure to dress warmly! In the height of the winter, Hingol National Park’s nights can be extremely chilly.
