K2 Airways in ‘final stages’ to start operations

Based on a press release from the company, K2 Airlines, an airline funded by Pakistani entrepreneurs and professionals residing in the United Arab Emirates, is in the “final phases” of launching. In Pakistan’s commercial aviation, K2 Airlines would be the “first private airline to offer Embraer E-Jets, according to the press release.

The airline intends to use two Embraer E-190 aircraft in order to fly to specified domestic locations. To make travel easier for Pakistani travelers, underutilized and smaller airports in Pakistan would be connected to Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore. This will reduce the gap because the airline would provide travelers the freedom to select the ideal airport inside the catchment. The airline can also supplement the operations of the current domestic carriers by acting as a feeder carrier.

The airline, it continued, has a “well-thought plan” to alter and diversify passengers’ travel experiences by exposing Embraer E-Jets interior, which is structured on 2+2row seats, with good leg space.

According to the press release, the entrepreneurs and industry professionals who are supporting the airline have an extraordinary passion for aviation, who think about implementing new automation tools as well as trying to gather young and energetic professionals in the team to establish a strong, technologically appropriate, and digitalized aviation entity in Pakistan.

Senior Manager Commercial Sarah Khoso responded to a query by stating to Geo. tv that K2 Airlines will be bringing the Embraer E190 aircraft, which has just the “perfect capacity” to suit the domestic market. She continued by saying that while K2 has a commendable strategy for linking smaller cities to larger ones in order to increase air connectivity within Pakistan, the present players mostly serve trunk routes.

She continued, We hope to see Embraer E190 growing popular based on its roomy cabin and pleasant seat design with no middle seat since it is the first new aircraft type to be delivered in Pakistan in decades. Khoso continued, K2 Airlines intends to develop markets, serve the majority of airports, and do its best to provide schedule flexibility to the average person.
