Home Away from Home at Kandolhu, The Maldives

The Maldives are the destination to visit at least once in your life if you have an emotional attachment to paradise. An easy 25-minute flight will take you through the capital Male to the remote island of Kandolhu. Because the island is so small, a 15-minute walk can easily take you around. Compared to other Maldives resorts, Kandolhu is more tranquil and feels more natural. Here’s why we’d like to refer to it as our home away from home.

Villa Stay

With only 30 rooms, Kandolhu Island Resort is one of the tiniest islands in the Maldives. There aren’t many people around besides breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the restaurants, but it has the sense of a paradise island. On this lovely island, you still feel alone regardless of it being completely booked.

The villa includes two bathrooms, one of which is outside and the other of which is handier. Additionally, the villa has WiFi, air conditioning, and a comfortable bed. A two-story villa, the duplex villas. Not a vast villa, but one that provides you with the ideal amount of space and a cozy “home” atmosphere.

Your pool will be located in front of the villa. The beach is only a 5-meter walk away if you like the beach. The best sunset view is from the infinity pool at the water villas Kandolhu, which also has a sea outlook.

Dining at Kandolhu

Breakfast will be served as you enjoy a stunning ocean view. You will not have to be concerned about the restaurants being very crowded because there are only 30 accommodations on the island.

Amazing diving can be found everywhere around the island of Kandolhu. You have a GoPro in your room that you may use to capture some stunning underwater pictures. You won’t get tired of snorkeling in this area because of the fantastic reef that surrounds the island. Look for the turtles!
