Canada To Mandate Proof of Vaccines For Air and Train Travel

On August 13, 2021, the Canadian Government announced that it will require most of its commercial passengers traveling by ship, air, and rail to be fully vaccinated. Being the largest employer, Canada is making sure that most of its workers are healthy and are working safely. Canadian ministers at the press conference claimed that “ We want to set an example”. According to the announcements, this rule was made because the government firmly believes that vaccines are the most effective tool against the COVID-19. There were also remarks about the success rate of the vaccination “ Since mid-December, less than 1% of the cases were among those that have been fully vaccinated”. There are plans to let international vaccinated passengers from all around the world be able to travel to Canada soon.
